Classes for 2 - 5 Year Olds
Our Preschool classes are designed to introduce our youngest dancers to the magical world of dance. Targeted at ages two to five years old, our classes are designed specifically to get preschoolers and toddlers moving and grooving.
We offer the award winning preschool dance program, READY SET DANCE. The curriculum takes a playful approach to learning and dancing that ignites the imagination and curiosity of youngsters and gets them excited to learn. Recognised and endorsed by leading childhood experts as a wonderful early learning program, READY SET DANCE has been developed by 5 of Australia's most respected and well known industry professionals with over 30 years of industry experience working with young kids.
READY SET DANCE is a performing arts syllabus designed specifically for preschoolers. It has been developed using the knowledge of some of Sydney’s leading dance experts with fundamentals in child development.
With major emphasis on fun and creating confident little people, this syllabus is the first stepping stone in your child’s dance journey. These classes not only introduce preschoolers to the world of dance but are also a place to grow, learn and make friends.
They will just love balancing bean bags, working as a team with the parachute, singing on the microphone, putting on a puppet show and playing musical instruments. This class will quickly become their favourite of the week.
A beautiful 30-minute introduction to ballet, filled with princesses, plies and everything pretty. Catch a snowflake, twirl a ribbon, make believe you are a mermaid all while learning the basics of ballet.
Enrol in this class only or in addition to READY SET DANCE.
Boys are also welcome to come along to Ready Set Ballet and will have fun pretending to be pirates.
Acrobatic classes offer a fun and inspiring way to move. Students start with fundamentals and work their way up to more advanced skills. Students will develop excellent gross motor skills and core strength along with impressive flexibility. All activities are done in a safe and progressive manner with an emphasis on strength and body posturing to ensure each individual is capable of the skills they’re being taught.
